Footnotes
I really like the way that the Textile2 plugin for WordPress lets you do footnotes easily, but I just noticed that the way that it writes the html for them, when multiple posts appear on a page the links in the notes get screwed up. I’d need to make sure that the footnote numbers are unique in order to solve this problem, which seems like too much trouble since there are varying numbers of post per page depending on whether you’re looking at the current view, a particular day’s view in the calendar, or a single post. So I’m going to punt and assume that since most posts aren’t that long, and most of my footnotes aren’t very important, readers can visually piece it together. If you actually find a particular entry confusing just click on the title of the post to switch to a post-by-post view, and the footnote links will work properly.
