Never too busy to blog?

Yes, I know that I posted something just after I whined that I didn’t have time to post anything. But, but….it was cool! And after I opened up bloglines to see if it updated correctly, I just had to take a quick look at my favorite blogs, didn’t I?

E-MELD - Tools & Resources

E-MELD - Tools & Resources

Sweet. With this you can type “forla”, right click, select æ, and enter forlæten without having to look up or memorize the code for the ae ligature (Yes, I know ae ligature is one of the handful that have a mnemonic entity, I was just using an example off the top of my head.)

It would be kind of nice, though, if there was the option to display the unicode character entity, so that you could cut and paste to a non-unicode aware editor and have it just work when you displayed the page in a browser.

Thank’s to It’s Ablaut Time and Language Log for the pointer.

Too busy to blog

Unfortunately, my work has overwhelmed me recently, and I haven’t had time for reading blogs, let alone writing them. When I get home at night I either just go to bed, or blow off some steam playing City of Heroes. I hope to have a more normal schedule starting in September. If nothing else, I’m taking two weeks off to have some surgery done (not major surgery, but I won’t be able to talk for a while) and I expect time will be hanging heavy on my hands then and blogging should provide some relief.
