Well, except my copy has gone missing. If it turns up, or whoever borrowed it returns it, I’ll post something in more detail. My favorite essay was the Spock vs. Chomsky one, although I suspect that the one that in the end will have the most lasting importance is the list of the things that every academic journal _must_ have. I’d be curious how journals in other disciplines stack up, and whether the major linguistics journals have made progress since the last report.
